Sarah MacEntee is a music educator completing her Master’s degree in Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds degrees in Flute Performance and Biology from Binghamton University and has experience teaching elementary general music, beginner band, and private individual and group woodwind lessons in New York City public schools.

Her practice is grounded in inclusive, student-centered pedagogy, culturally responsive teaching, and a commitment to creative, meaningful music-making. She designs music learning experiences that emphasize access, student voice, and community-building, and is dedicated to creating music classrooms where all students feel affirmed, challenged, and empowered.
