Sarah MacEntee is a music educator holding a Master’s degree in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as BMus & BA degrees from Binghamton University. Currently serving as the Leave Replacement Band Director at Harrison High School, she brings a wide range of experience teaching across K–12 levels, including elementary general music, beginner band, high school ensembles, and private woodwind instruction.

Her practice is grounded in inclusive, student-centered pedagogy, culturally responsive teaching, and a commitment to creative, meaningful music-making. She designs music learning experiences that emphasize access, student voice, and community-building, and is dedicated to creating music classrooms where all students feel affirmed, challenged, and empowered.
